Nifty
opens at record high; Infosys, Yes Bank in focus

Opens: It is a positive start for the Indian
indices as Nifty hits fresh record high.
The Sensex is up 259.02 points or 0.62%
at 41858.74, and the Nifty up 69.40 points or 0.57% at 12326.20. About 779
shares have advanced, 175 shares declined, and 64 shares are unchanged.
Tata Steel, Wipro, ICICI Bank, IndusInd
Bank, Bajaj Finance, Sun Pharma and Avenue Supermart are among major gainers on
the Indices, while losers are Yes Bank, Tata Motors and Dr Reddy's Lab.
Rupee
Opens: The Indian rupee opened higher by 15 paise
at 70.79 per dollar on Monday versus Friday's close 70.94.
