Opens: Indian indices opened higher on July 13 with
Nifty above 10850 on the back of positive global cues.
At 09:18 IST, the Sensex was up 291.80
points or 0.80% at 36886.13, and the Nifty was up 86.40 points or 0.80% at
10854.40. About 882 shares have advanced, 343 shares declined, and 80 shares
are unchanged.
Indian rupee ended lower on July 10 at
75.20 per dollar, amid selling seen in the domestic equity market.
