Nifty opens above 11,850, Sensex up 100 points; Cox & Kings falls 10%

 

Market Opens: It is flat to positive start for the Indian indices on June 27 on the back of no major global cues.

The Sensex is up 74.75 points or 0.19% at 39666.83, and the Nifty up 21.90 points or 0.18% at 11869.40. About 461 shares have advanced, 229 shares declined, and 28 shares are unchanged. 

Zee Entertainment, Bharti Airtel, NTPC, L&T, IndusInd Bank, Indiabulls Housing, Asian Paints, Kotak Mahindra Bank are among major gainers on the Indices, while losers include Emami, Motherson Sumi, Cox & Kings BPCL, IOC, JSW Steel and Reliance Industries.

All the sectoral indices are trading with marginal gains led by the auto, PSU bank, FMCG and infra.

Rupee Opens: The Indian rupee slipped in the early trade on Thursday. It has opened lower by 11 paise at 69.26 per dollar versus previous close 69.15.

Nifty above 11,800, Sensex up 100 points; Emami gains 4%

Market Opens: It is a weak opening for the Indian indices on June 26 with Nifty around 11,750 level.

The Sensex is down 63.84 points or 0.16% at 39371.10, and the Nifty down 17.30 points or 0.15% at 11779.20. About 230 shares have advanced, 378 shares declined, and 30 shares are unchanged. 

NTPC, Bharti Airtel, Axis Bank are among major gainers on the Indices, while losers are UPL, Zee Entertainment, Dr. Reddy's Lab, IndusInd Bank, HDFC, Titan Company and Maruti Suzuki.

Among sectors, selling seen in the FMCG, IT, metal and PSU bank, while buying seen in the auto, energy, infra and pharma.

Rupee Opens: The Indian rupee opened lower at 69.40 per dollar on Wednesday against Tuesday's close of 69.34.

Market opens: It is a weak start for the benchmark indices on June 25 with Nifty around 11,650.

The Sensex is down 137.85 points at 38,985.11, while Nifty is down 41.50 points at 11,658.20.  About 244 shares have advanced, 507 shares declined, and 28 shares are unchanged. 

ONGC, NTPC, M&M, Eicher Motors, Bharti Airtel and Oberoi Realty are among major gainers on the indices, while losers are Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Indiabulls Housing, Yes Bank, Zee Entertainment, IndusInd Bank and Tech Mahindra.
